Gold Coast Sushi & Ramen – Fresh Sushi and Flavorful Ramen in Newhall, CA

We love this place not only you can tell all the food is high-quality ingredients, but also they have very high standards when it comes to presentation and down to the smallest of details places very nicely decorated as a very nice cozy vibe and the service is great main chef actually all the chefs are very nice. Very caring. They always try to give you new stuff to try. They spoil us there making special recipes and always surprising us with fun delicious creations! Let me show you guys just a couple of examples that I had when I went for a small dinner for my birthday with my parents and they made our experience very welcoming!

I randomly came across this sushi place and was really happy I stopped in for dinner. The menu had a lot of variety, and everything I had was delicious. The fish tasted fresh and I'll definitely need to come back and try their ramen! The waitress was very attentive, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. It would be a great place to go on a date to with your loved one, or a place to catch up with an old friend. As they're new, they didn't have a liquor license yet, but that was fine. They offered a variety of drinks and teas on their menu. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Great food and atmosphere! We got the spicy tuna crispy rice, salmon sushi, salmon roll, dragon roll and mango roll. The chef gave us a sashimi dish for free which was very delicious! Seating is limited but the atmosphere is cute and welcoming! Service was a little slow to be seated, but after that the food came out quickly and waitresses checked on us often. Would highly recommend. We drove ~20 mins and it was well worth it! Will definitely be coming back soon!

Gold Coast Sushi is a gem! The food, service, and drinks were all excellent. The ramen was rich and flavorful, and the fish was incredibly fresh. Every bite tasted high-quality. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the whole dining experience even better. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

The place is very nice, a little upscale compared to other sushi place in the area. The price is normal but you need some adds on for toppings make it slightly expensive for the ramen. The presentation is nice but the food taste is just ordinary, I don’t feel the difference with other sushi and ramen places. The highlight for me is the location at the historical Newhall. We can stroll around before and after eating

This is some of the best sushi I have ever had. Nigiri was absolutely phenomenal, each piece with a small flavor accompaniment. It was end of the night and the chef gave me a small additional piece of sashimi for some of the fish I ordered. They have a very good list of sushi options and all prepared and presented beautifully by the chef. Highly recommend this place, I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area. I wish I would have snapped a picture of the nigiri but I ate it too fast!

This place is incredible. The staff is so sweet and always treat us like we are the only customers in the restaurant! The fish is very fresh. We love the 10 piece special and the jalapeno yellowtail. The best sushi in SCV hands down.

I'm a local of the area, and I have been to most all other Sushi places in town, and this is the only place I didn't wanna write a review for, (for selfish reasons) but this places deserve the review. Ok! So my husband and I walked into Gold Coast Sushi around late October, and we were absolutely blown away. From the basics of cleanliness, service, and attention to detail. But the quality of fish is the real highlight. I won't describe how it tastes or what made me write this review in the first place. I will just politely ask, "Give this place a try?" My only gripe is that with quality comes cost, this is not a "cheap dinner" and in this time setting of (2025) cost is an extremely important part of any person alive right now. If not for that, this review would 100% be 5 stars.
